Gel Seal HEPA Filter (Gel HEPA Filter) is the top-grade leak-proof high-efficiency terminal filter designed for ultra-strict ISO5 (Class 100) cleanroom environments, widely adopted in pharmaceutical GMP Grade A/B workshops and hospital high-risk operating rooms.

Different from ordinary rubber gasket HEPA filters with hidden micro-leakage risks, this filter integrates a dedicated silicone gel trough on the frame edge. When installed with a knife-edge ceiling grid or HEPA box housing, the rigid blade sinks into soft non-Newtonian silicone gel to form a fully airtight, self-healing seamless seal, completely blocking unfiltered air bypass. It eliminates particle leakage gaps that cause cleanroom contamination, the only HEPA type approved for GMP on-site PAO aerosol validation of Class 100 laminar flow zones.

Main Structure & Material Breakdown

1. Outer Frame & Gel Trough System

  • Frame material: Extruded lightweight aluminum alloy (standard); SUS304 stainless steel upgrade for frequent disinfection medical environments; galvanized steel for general electronics workshops
  • Built-in integral blue silicone gel groove around the entire filter perimeter, pre-filled with high-viscosity self-healing polyurethane/silicone gel
  • Gel property: Anti-gravity, elastic, self-repairing minor scratches, stable within -20℃ ~ 70℃, no fluid flow under normal airflow pressure, resistant to alcohol and hydrogen peroxide mist
  • Matching installation requirement: Must pair with knife-edge ceiling T-grid or HEPA terminal filter box to achieve full sealing effect

2. Mini-Pleat Filtration Core (Standard Mini Plate Structure)

  • Filter media: Ultra-fine borosilicate glass fiber (PTFE chemical-resistant media optional)
    • H13: ≥99.99% efficiency for 0.3μm MPPS particles
    • H14: ≥99.995% efficiency for 0.3μm MPPS (mandatory for pharmaceutical Grade A & hospital operating rooms)
    • ULPA U15–U19: ≥99.9995% efficiency for 0.12μm submicron particles for semiconductor ultra-clean zones
  • Separator: Hot-melt polypropylene bead strips (no metal aluminum clapboard), uniform narrow mini-pleats expand filtration area, lower pressure drop and avoid fiber shedding
  • Internal sealing: Two-component PU glue fully pours and seals media packs to frame, zero internal filter core leakage

3. Auxiliary Components

  • Double-sided epoxy coated metal protective mesh: Prevents media scratch during transportation and installation
  • Optional reserved differential pressure sampling port & PAO aerosol injection port for on-site GMP validation
  • Custom plastic lifting handles for easy tool-free filter replacement
