Clean room sandwich panel (also named purification panel) is a dedicated modular composite enclosure material engineered exclusively for controlled cleanroom environments. It consists of double-sided hygienic metal facer sheets thermally bonded to lightweight insulating core material via high-strength PU adhesive, forming a seamless, dust-proof, easy-to-disinfect wall and ceiling system.

1. Outer Facer Sheet Material Options

All surfaces adopt non-porous, particle-free smooth coating to resist bacteria adhesion and repeated chemical disinfection:
  1. Pre-painted galvanized steel (Standard Grade)

    Thickness: 0.3–0.6mm; matte white RAL9003 cleanroom coating, anti-fingerprint, antibacterial treatment (ISO 22196 ≥99.9% antibacterial rate). Cost-effective for electronics, cosmetic and medium-grade ISO7/8 clean zones.

  2. SUS304 / SUS316L Stainless Steel (Premium Medical/Pharma Grade)

    Wire drawing anti-corrosion surface, withstands long-term wiping with alcohol, hydrogen peroxide and chlorine disinfectants. Mandatory for operating rooms, vaccine workshops, food sterile filling and high-corrosion labs.

  3. Anti-static ESD coated steel (Electronics Special)

    Surface resistance 10⁶~10⁹Ω, eliminates static discharge damage to chips, semiconductors and optical components.

  4. Optional: Aluminum alloy sheet for lightweight clean booth frames.

2. Main Core Material Types & Performance Comparison

(1) Rock Wool Sandwich Panel (Class A1 Non-combustible, GMP Fire Standard)

  • Core: Basalt inorganic rock wool, density 80–120kg/m³, A-class fireproof, 1–3 hour fire resistance limit
  • Advantages: Non-flammable, sound insulation, inorganic anti-mold, high structural rigidity
  • Best for: Pharmaceutical aseptic workshops, hospital operating rooms, chemical labs, high fire-risk clean zones
  • Limitation: Slightly heavy, requires full sealing for high-humidity environments

(2) PU / PIR Polyurethane Panel (Ultra Energy-Saving Insulation)

  • Core: Closed-cell rigid PU foam, thermal conductivity λ=0.022~0.026 W/m·K (industry top insulation performance)
  • Fire grade: B1 low flame spread; excellent moisture & water resistance
  • Best for: Cold storage cleanrooms, temperature-sensitive biotech labs, constant humidity production lines
  • Advantages: Lightweight, ultra-low HVAC power consumption, long service life

(3) EPS Flame-Retardant Panel (Economical Medium Cleanroom)

  • Core: Closed-cell FR-EPS foam, B2 flame retardant, ultra-lightweight, low unit cost
  • Best for: Electronics assembly, cosmetic packaging, temporary modular clean booths (ISO7/8 low fire risk areas)
  • Limitation: Not recommended for ISO5 Class100 sterile pharmaceutical zones or open-flame workshops

(4) Aluminum Honeycomb Panel (Ultra-Light High Strength Premium)

  • Core: Aviation-grade aluminum honeycomb grid, hollow lightweight structure, high flatness
  • Advantages: Zero particle shedding, no moisture absorption, lightest weight for long-span ceiling
  • Best for: Semiconductor Class100 ultra-clean zones, precision optical labs, high-end modular hard wall clean booths
